Merchant Approval Requirements
Not every merchant qualifies for a merchant account, although
we can approve nearly 99% of all qualified applicants. We
have a liberal approval process where we can accept almost
all business types and virtually all credit situations including:
- Home-based businesses
- Mail Order / Tele Order Companies (MOTO)
- Internet-based (E-Commerce) Businesses
- Hotels/Motels and Restaurants
- International Businesses (non-U.S. based)
We have a number of methods to help circumvent impediments
that small businesses face such as insufficient or questionable
credit.

Criteria for US and International Merchants
US Merchant Account Criteria
In order to obtain a U.S. merchant account through toneee.com,
you need to meet the belwo requirements. If you do not meet
these requirements, you may apply for an international merchant
account instead.
- Must be a qualified business: Whether
a corporation, limited liability company (LLC), partnership,
or otherwise, the applicant must be some sort of business.
Merchant accounts are not available for personal use.
- Tax Identification Number: Either a Social
Security Number (SSN) or Employer Identification Number
(EIN) is required. You may apply for this number by visiting
the Internal
Revnue Service website.
- US-based checking account & address: Your
bank must be a US bank, and your headquarters must be based
in the United States.
